Pediatric Dentistry

OVERVIEW-Pediatric Dentistry

The children we mould today are the leaders of tomorrow. It is every parent’s duty to instill the senses of responsibility, discipline and hygiene. Dental care should not be placed in the back burner either.

DESCRIPTION

“A child would follow your example, rather than your advice”.

We recommend that you make an appointment to visit the dentist as soon as your child gets his/her first tooth.  Baby teeth should be kept in place until they are replaced by permanent teeth. They preserve the space for the permanent teeth to grow into. If baby teeth are lost too early, the adjoining teeth can drift into the spaces that are needed for the permanent teeth. If retained for too long, the condition causes the permanent teeth to erupt at aberrant positions. This can then cause crowding  of permanent teeth (malocclusion).

Moreover, when a child learns to maintain his baby teeth by brushing and regular dental visits, he develops the sense of hygiene and responsibility by the time the permanent teeth are in place. At Oro care, this is the ultimate goal. We have been treating and educating tiny tots and their parents for the past years and will continue to spread the smiles.
